Last Sunday’s Behind the Scenes

Sunday morning came.



And someone was very happy. He gets to test out his new toy in a real life photoshoot.



This is his new toy.. Nikon’s AF-D 85mm f1.4D… the lens he has been drooling over ever since he got his first DSLR.

And of cos..



Me with my new toy :) The much awaited 24-70 f2.8 ...



… and then Peter came and introduced him to Nikon’s AFS 85mm f1.4G Nano. Wahaha. Anyways, I dun think kena much poison. I on the other hand… Hmmmm…



I decided to keep on eating my lunch and the two of them examined each other’s equipment. >:)



And here’s another poisonous lens. Wonderful lens with a very different angle of view.



Taken with the AFS 24mm f1.4G Nano lens. It’s a wide lens and thus gives you the wide perspective, yet… it gives you a very nice creamy bokeh. An effect seldom seen in wide angle lenses. But photo is of course a bit mis leading because the finger is rather close to the lens which will throw the background off focus.

Moving on…



After the formalities, we started the photoshoot. Minna is a cheeky little lady.

Finding another perspective?

Oh.. hmmm.. that’s me!! hehehe



And me again!! Oh.. we went to Fullhouse in Sunway Giza for this photoshoot. They were very accommodating. Very nice place indeed.



Erm… Peter.. the model is over here… hehehehe



We also ventured outside. And of course inside Sunway Giza as well.

Oh.. and there’s one thing I notice…



The pangsai shooting pose.



Besides giving you a lower angle..



.. it gives you a bottom up view..



.. and it makes you easier to hide behind objects so as to snipe your subject..



.. and.. apparently it’s quite appealing to the ladies…



… they approach you and asks you to take their picture!!

Fuah.. must try!!



Tandem photo-taking?

All in all, it’s a nice photoshoot and a day out to the new place called Sunway Giza. Very airy, very comfortable place with lots of choice for food and drinks.
