We wish that this new year brings to you guys the realisation of many dreams, hopes and wishes! :)
2012 was a year of many things. Some sad, some ‘kan cheong’ but mostly happy!
We decided that as photographers, we have a responsibility to our couples and clients. Although we do have in place contingency measures to avoid any unforeseen issues, we took it a step further this year and invested heavily into additional equipment, hardware and software to ensure we provide the best of us.
Ok, that’s not ENTIRELY ours. That is part of the gears used during the marathon photoshoot. The other half have gone home after a long hard morning.
That said, we did have many fun times through 2012. This include the many fun times we had working with fellow photographers in various projects including a very interesting job photographing a marathon event. You see, we were not newbies when it comes to photoshooting marathon, but this particular marathon required that each individual runner be photographed, and their photos renamed according to the bib number. That does not sound like much but when you return home with over 6000 photos, it was a real handful.
It was also during this marathon shoot that I personally discovered how effective a ‘headband’ was to prevent sweat going into my eyes. Even if the headband was an impromptu make-do from a hand towel.
Earlier in 2012, we were given the honour of being in the panel of judges for a photography competition organised by Ryokan Chic Hostels.
And we met the legendary Joe McNally and his shadow Drew…
As well as the equally renowned Zack Arias.
Not forgetting the various weddings and awesome couples we have the honour of being their wedding photographers.
And last but not least, we did a tie up with a local media company whose dynamic team brought to Malaysians Today’s Choices magazine. Check them out at their facebook page or their webpage.
We work hand in hand with each other. So far we have done a few covershots for their magazine. Oh.. and a media trip to a tropical island nearby.
